    Talk about being inspired. After looking through the buildups, posted by Stan, Matt, Crammy and Joey I got inspired to put together a little account of my own journey over the last 12 months ........

    :arrow: Added a hard wired car kit for my LG TU550 Next G phone.

    This unit is pre-patched for adding an external antenna. I think the reception is fine, at the moment, but I would like to add the antenna for when I'm travelling a bit further away from major centres.

    Still not 100% happy with the wiring from the cradle to the controller ... but thats a lazy Sunday afternoon job .... to explore some more stealth wiring opportunities :lol: :lol:

    :arrow: Finally finished off the single side drawer unit with carpet and some nice fittings.

    :arrow: Tidied up the fuses and circuit breaker.

    Fuse block rated at 100A - max 30A per circuit.

    100A solid state manual reset circuit breaker for wiring up the inverter.



    :arrow: Fitted the new Twin head 150L/min air compressor.

    Replaced the old 72L/min compressor with a new 150L/min unit.

    Put the base plate back on the old unit, wired it up with an Anderson plug, knocked together a short lead with battery clips at one end and an Anderson plug at the other end, and chucked the whole lot in the back as a spare.

    nice work there chippy, the camper looks like the bomb, ya have spend some serious coin in twelve months, and the trip around aus is one thing i have got to do.
    had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

        Love the bash plate idea but did you notice any heat build up ?

              Cheers mate. The vents in the new bash plate a bigger than the original ones so it gets a lot more airflow. There hasn't been any movement in the temp at all.

                      With Tyler working most weekends now we are getting closer to not needing the third row of seats ..... but I'm still making them in two pieces so that we can have the feral seat if needed. :lol: :lol: :lol:

                      Mind you ... then I have to look for a cargo barrier :lol: :lol: :lol:

                            C'mon Chippy, you know the drill. For every mod we do it leads to doing two more! Fit a bullbar, you need winch and spotties to fill it. Fit all that you need a lift to carry it! And so on! :wink: :lol:
