    There is a little info on the Brown Davis website but you piece it all together:
    Brown Davis Underguards
    Toyota Underguards

    Part for a 120 is UGTP120F1

    Then a Google at that brings up:

    Seems to be 3mm thick weighing in at about 15kg in total and can be purchased for about $310ish which seems like cheap insurance to the front there.

      I have to admit after revisiting that picture of the old bash plate i must admit it is crushed.....

        The new gear looks like its solid enough to give great undercarriage protection.

        Did you buy direct from Brown Davis or through the likes of Opposite Lock / TJM / ARB or the like ?

          Your old one certainly was banged up!

          My Brown Davis has copped an absolute hiding, slightly disformed but only a very slight bend. Whatever did it would have ripped clean through the standard "bash" plate!

              I'm amazed with your torque figure, joey! 520 Nm. just got 400 Nm with the 3" exhaust, 1 bar of boost and DP chip.

                  When you do that Joey, include the list of the major performance mods that had been applied to the vehicle as well. Not sure if it is limited to chip (which brand), exhaust and dyno tune but I think that was before the bonnet scope. How are you seeing fuel economy with all that power?

                    My DP chip is turned up to 8 ....
                    I have sacrificed ecconomy for power but i can live with that....

                    I guess the extras are: dp chip, 3 inch straight through high flow exhuast without muffler but small hotdog instead, k&n air filter, boost t increased to 15 psi, bonnet scoop...

                    Yes those figures were before the addition of the scoop.

                        Gday joey,always gets expensive when i go trolling through your build .I was hoping you could help me with some old pics of your bash plate please.Either i am getting more stupid in my old age or those couple of pictures of old and new bash plates have dissapeared ops: ops: .Can you also comment if all bolt holes lined straight up and continue to do so for each service when gaining access for sump bolt? Thanking you in advance Keithy

                          Hi Joey

                          In your opinion, which would you say gave the most bang for buck, the exhaust or the chip? I see you highly recommend both. Also, was the noise on the 3" straight thru too much, with droning etc or was it a power issue that made you add the hotdog?

                            Firstly i would say the chip made a considerable difference...
                            The exhuast also improved performance instantly.....i would say they both are a a equal for me!!
                            Really they compliment each other...

                            the reason for the hot dog was i felt i had lost a small amount of back pressure and thus performance and once added the difference to the feel was dramatic...Also it refined the sound to a mean growl instead of a raspy bark....

                            throw in the boost and scoop and GRRRRRRR....

                              I think I will get both done, I would love to get the scoop done too!!!!
                              Do you think a 2.5" or 2.75" exhaust would be bettter for the back pressure issue?
