    Mate i used K&H surfacs technologies Satin Black and finished with K&H clear coat...

    also used a good quality etch primar..

      looks tops joey, pity to get them dirty when you go bush again. lol cheers samo
      had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

            With the camping and off roading back in full swing i decidecd to buy one of these little ARB beauties today....

            Didnt want the big one as i wanted the size to go with my rack...

              They are a good bit of gear those awnings. You considered another for the rear and maybe a custome piece to join the two?

                  oh man, you won't believe this, but i actually have one of those in the shed to fit up as well. i'm not copying, i swear.

                  i've just been too lazy to fit it up, plus, i'd have to move my jack and shovel holder to the RHS.

                  i know what it looks like now, and i can show the missus too.

                  looks good joey.

                  does the awning block any of the light off the nearest spot light on top? i have my ipf right at the edge of the rack, and i think the awning would cast a shadow out the side unless i slide the awning out the back more.

                      Here I was thinking there wasn't much left you wanted/needed to do - surprises just keep coming!
                      Rig is looking awesome, the awning will see many a beer disappear i'm sure!!!

                      Thanks for the info for the paint job on the rims - still unsure myself if i'll so the same or leave them stock and get a set of black steelies...

                        Well the rig is in the shop today for some new shoes....Also having the front suspension raised by 10mm as it has dropped .

                        Have decided to go with the same STT COOPER again ...never had a flat and got 70,000 out of them...

                        They have still got 5mm tread so could go another 6 months but i wanted some new ones...I will keep the best 3 for the camper trailer i buying....
