    100 is slower off the line but has the torque when revs are over 1500 (boost comes ). Ride is not as good even with the Bilsteins. Seats are similar (both leather) 100 has more padding. Road handling is good for a Torsion Bar front but again not like the 120.

    Has similar dash and cruise buttons. Gearbox changes at lower revs and locks earlier. Fridge in the console is great but limits the amount of stuff you put in the remaining room. Variable steering takes a bit to get used to, first time around a round a about you almost turn into it.

    Towing the camper is much easier than the 120, and uses less diesel. You really feel the extra size but funny enough not the weight or maybe i have been in 4wd's for too long.

      Hi all.
      Started to build a new system for my brother, Nifty07. 200 series.
      Main frame for the base is done. Fridge slide to suit a 70LT Trailblazer.
      Draw yet to be made but should be approx 500 x 350 x 1000 on same bearings as fridge slide.






      Should look similar to my 100 Sahara set.

            Bought a different type of heat exchanger for the 100. The original Glind is long and fitting with every thing else is proving trouble some.
            These units are stainless and copper and hopefully will be super reliable. Not complaining about the Glind unit as i had the one in both Prado's and my 80 series and is now 14 years old.

            Made the bracket for the heater today. Bolts onto the side and under through the wheel arch. Now need some fittings and to mount the pump. This unit is the 30 plate version.

              Did a test on warm, not running temp. Motor on fast idle, 20 L water started at 26 deg to 42 deg in 3 minutes.

              Motor on fast idle pulling 26 deg water to hot to shower with. Normal idle just a bit cool to shower. We normally heat the water then shut the motor off and run the pump through the exchanger for a while then use when ready.

              So far so good.

                Finally got back into the Nifty07 build. Yeah i know its a 200, but really its a 120 in disguise.
                Steelwork is done and powdercoated. Aluminium draw is fitted and on the inside (no pic yet) made a false floor so the bottom 100mm is under. This will house the tools and spares.

                Nev is doing the timber and carpet, then it comes back to have the compressor, radios and electrics done.
                Fridge is on a ORS slide, Trailblaser 70 LT.

                      Tow test has confirmed the power tune done the job. Sits on the freeway at 100 kph in 5th with torque converter locked. Did a loop from home to Kenilworth and back via Maleny. The range on west was done in 3rd at 2500-2800. Definitely a worthwhile investment so far.
                      When on open road will sit just under 100 kph and use 4th locked on and rise, and 5 th on the flats.

                        We too had a camping weekend. Small spot not to many go to. Marsh Causeway near Linville SEQ.
                        Good campsites up on top of the hill but we camped down beside the river.

                        But first show some flex getting out of the back yard.



                        The main camp area is just behind where i took the pic.



                        Not the place to be in the middle of summer, or a rain event. It flood through here. That's the main camp up on the hill.

                          More jobs on the 100 done on the weekend.

                          Fitted the EGT / Boost gauge.
                          Fitted Redarc elite brake controller.
                          Fitted Torque Converter lock switch and circuit. (Made by my son). I knew there was a reason to send him to QUT to do electrical engineering.
