Noted your photos of the warn winch with synthetic cable. I am just in the throws of buying a winch and getting to an information overload state. I can't do any suspension adjustments to my Grande and was concerned re the weight factor on the front of the vehicle. I am getting mixed signals re synthetic v wire cable and would prefer synthetic. How have you fared with the synthetic option. Have you heard anything re Tiger winches, they are offering a deal of$845 for a 12000 lb winch with 28mtrs synthetic cable.
Trial fitted a worklamp, now I need to decide how to wire it. I'm thinking a switch on the pole as well as a master switch in the cab...
I think legally you have to have a switch on the worklamp, and also one to control it on the dash, mostly probably to stop you blinding the person behind you if someone were to switch it on without you knowing or forgetting it was on. Probably a good idea this way to so you dont have you starter battery flatten if lamp wired off it..

Yup my first 4x4 was an NL Pajero, taught me how to recover vehicles  I have stayed in the club as it's more about the people than the 4x4 you drive.
I'm in a Landcruiser club and there are other vehicles as well. All are welcome, just that some cope a bit more of a ribbing than others
