  • I picked up a pair of rock sliders at a reasonable price off ebay (guy had upgraded to a V8 cruiser!), spent today refreshing them (paint) and will install tomorrow. Stay tuned for photos.

      • Fairly simple installation. The removal of the old steps took a few minutes - can see now how easy they are to steal ???

The drivers side all lined up and bolted nice and firmly to the 3 points.
The passenger side - well, the front and rear mounts lined up and bolted up nice and firm, but the middle mount did not line up. Still working out how I am going to secure it. I remember reading on another forum that that there is a slight difference in chassis holes from the earlier Prado and the D4D, I'd say that's what has happened.

Regardless, I think they look smick 8) they seem to blend really well with the black Prado that you could almost assume they are a factory option. ;D

        and the obligatory pics:

Nice setup all round, this is my first post on the forum, have a prodigy P3 I am installing and was looking at the info available on PP when I got sidetracked reading this post.

          Cheers
