            Your in for a treat then in three days. Might need to take care when you drive in with the rack spare tyre and lift into the car port. Have you measured up the clearance yet?

              OME suspension added

              UPDATE: NEW OME suspension added!



              We ended up going with the following option:

              Front OME884 coils + 9000 struts
              Rear OME896 coils + 60005 shocks (and OME661 stone guards).

              Before / After heigh measurements:

              LHF 635 -> 795mm
              RHF 635 -> 795mm
              LHR 745 -> 825mm
              RHR 740 -> 825mm



              Very happy indeed.

              Now all ready and kitted out for the 2009 PP GTG!

                  Well done! I'm keen to hear how it performs. I am planning mine for July and currently thinking OME or Bilsteins.

                    ARB did this - see my previous pics for more detail. I'm getting an extra point added to the roof rack tomorrow so that I can fit two tyres up top if needed, or alternative place the extra spare tyre either forward or aft depending on overall loads on board.

                        Are those suspension measurements correct :? It looks like nearly 6.5 inches on the front :shock:

                          G'day there NT whats your 1st impression on the ride of the car since the new suspension was fitted?

                            I like it. Even though we've got the 896 on the rear and aren't carrying a load at the moment, I still don't think it feels harsh or anything like that. We're still getting used to 'stepping up' to get into the car, and the new look - which we like. The wife likes the feel and extra height when driving.

                            So far we're very happy with the set-up...but only done some town driving in it. Hope to load it up and attach the camper trailer in the next week or so to go camping for a real test out bush. Also can't wait to park it along side a normal Prado just to show off. :wink: 8)
