    I am impressed.
    Thanks Matt

I love the way you have drilled out the bolt to feed your power cable through for your worklight.

      Re: two + Four's 2008 GXL

Added a P3 brake controller to tow to the new (second hand) camper trailer. Mounted in the ash tray slot with plans to get a spare ashtray and modify it like others have done.

Believe it or not it is actually 11 years old and had only been used twice, just the sort of second hand camper you want to buy. The canvas is perfect and there is a bit of rust on the trailer to clean up.

Finally fitted the cargo barrier I picked up from Golly

It appears to be a great way to control the pests

Nice to see the build up continuing!

Whats Golly doing getting rid of the barrier?

Last I heard he was tossing up between keeping the Prado or upgrading to a 200 series. He decided not to fit the barrier because he was always using the back seats

                      His loss is your gain.

Business must be good if he is considering a 200!

Well the Prado was drinking like a fish 18 liters per 100 around town and more when toying the camper trailer. We decided some drastic action was called for.

First step a change of power plant Petrol to Diesel
Second step get rid of the rear seats as we seldom have all four kids with us now.
Finally a change in colour as the Dune just shows the scratches and dirt to much.

                        End result

Loved the Prado and have had a great time with it but now it is time to change

                          Finally a sunset shot.

I traded the prado and was pretty happy with the change over figure

Nice work two+four. That'd be a big difference under the right foot with that 4.5l V8 TD! Did you take up the Diff Lock option too? What are the expected fuel figures on those?

Hmmmmmm, I can just picture one of those sitting under my carport

Well done, certainly a bit of jealousy here!

                                Cheers Andrew
