Secondly I think a people will have a jerry can with the tap in the bottom, can you insert the jerry can into the holder with the tap in place.? ie in Photo 3? you dont want to have to muck around taking the tap in and out every tiem to remove the jerry can . I guess you could make the silt go all the way to the top if need be.
Do you have a pic what it looks like with the dual wheel carriers in place?
Cheers

I could not tell from the photos re the tap, the Kaymar holders only come up about half way of the jerry so it is easily seen. Great you have thought of that as well. Nice work.
Cheers

Can I ask how you've attached it to the roof? Does it use the map and cabin light mounts or does it need to be screwed/attached through the roof carpet?

A few early complaints from Trish and Dj regards having to open the 2 carriers each time to access the back, but everyone came to terms with that pretty quickly

It could all be removed and returned to standard and nothing could be seen unless the light or sunglasses holder were removed.
It all handled 11,000 kms form our trip with over 5000kms of that being on dirt so pretty happy with it.Last edited by AJ120; 14-07-2014, 09:59 AM.So Long and Thanks for all the Fish!

The greatest travesty/injustice of PP is that AJ's build thread/rig is not rated 5 stars...
Surely some folks viewing this thread could fix this by giving it a 5 star rating!NOW FOR SALE!!! - 2004 Silver GXL 3lt 4spd Auto - ARB Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Redarc Dual Battery System, Cooper ST MAXX, Dark Tint, IPF900XS spots, Raised Bilstein/Kings Suspension/Firestone Airbags, Autosafe Cargo Barrier, Sandgrabbers, Rola Roof Rack Stuff, Insect Screen, Dust/Wind Deflectors, Sheepskin/Black Duck Seatcovers, GME TX3510, ARB underbonnet compressor, Allied Hammer Rims, ARB UVP, AJ Sliders

Seems a couple of votes is all it took!
5 stars is the least this rig deserves.NOW FOR SALE!!! - 2004 Silver GXL 3lt 4spd Auto - ARB Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Redarc Dual Battery System, Cooper ST MAXX, Dark Tint, IPF900XS spots, Raised Bilstein/Kings Suspension/Firestone Airbags, Autosafe Cargo Barrier, Sandgrabbers, Rola Roof Rack Stuff, Insect Screen, Dust/Wind Deflectors, Sheepskin/Black Duck Seatcovers, GME TX3510, ARB underbonnet compressor, Allied Hammer Rims, ARB UVP, AJ Sliders

So a few people have been asking me for pictures of the rear bar set up with twin wheel and what it looks like, so here it is.
There is enough room between the tyres to go to a 33" tyre if I ever go down that path.
And this is all you can see of the tyre in the rear view mirror, not very much at all.
