my trailer had a dead short on the left clearance light. full re wire of the trailer/ new side lights.. at no cost to me...
my mate been using the trailer alot so he did the work and paid for the goods... better buy him a beer hey...
madkore . I bought the turtle lense cleaning kit from supercheap , i only use the cleaner. i dont seal it yet .. it only needs a freshen up every couple of months, takes 5min i spose per light ... but being honest it will last my life time, about the same amount as you brush ya teeth with does one side.. , may i ask for a bit of clarifacation on the " unique " part , hope its positive..
as far as the 41, joined the navy when i was 16, 3 yrs later i was in the gulf war 1990/1991 on board HMAS Brisbane.[ DDG 41 ] .. 6mths tour, then pulled a few strings to get back on it after my shore posting ... it was the fastest ship in the fleet and the engineering standards, for a 30 yr steam ship / crew.... outstanding ... spent ten years in the navy.. 2/3 of it was on this warship... best thing that i eva did... blokes where mad , great times and was the base of my heavy engineering maintence carreer... the good 'ol days
. these ships become part of you... for life
cheers butane
these should cover my needs, three light switches next to the centre , cig, lighter....
the winch power will be behind the gear shift / left of handbrake and the mini spots,
..... will still be powered up on the blinker stalk...
will run a healthy amount of 7 core trailer wire into the cab so i can pick up future switches.. with the color coded wire.. at a later date
i just use my polishing cloth to apply , and buff it off with the same cloth, i dont use the other gear supplied, or the plastic glove
because its quik and easy , works for me, i dont mask off , one day i'll do it properlly. as per instructions
Don't be tempted to try and misinterpret my 'unique' comment. Unique is good mate - if we were all the same it'd be a boring place wouldn't it?
When I said unique, I was referring to things like the black carbon fibre on the roof and the blacked out bonnet protector, as there aren't many on here with mods like that.
Thanks for the feedback on the Turtle Headlight Cleaner. Might have to give it a whirl as the pics show they have come up sparkling.

madcore , it was about 33 bucks but it will last a long time... thanks for the post,, just wanted to know what you thought was diff.. compare to other members,, cheers butane merry xmas,
long shifts this week, easy as rinse the dust off with the nozzle. 30ml of magic, mix up with water , spray late arvo after it cools off, leave over nite, go to work and come home to a shinny prado , nothing like helping out mother nature.
like many others the stock recess for switches will have to be opened up..
but the switches look good, my only concern is that the rockers will thro light out the front and back of the switch illuminating the plastic surround...
it will look good for the 3 lights tucked in the recess next to the cigie lighter but will play with the winch on and location, to see if this light thro will bother me on the flat of the centre console , behind the shifter... cheers butane
