Let there be light....
last day b4 work second time 'round,,,, at the 3x HID's wiring....
.... absolutely smashed it, happy as larry ,dash centre whiped it out no probs..
fully striped the wiring, and re configuer'd ,soldered/and hard wired... in about 6 hrs total...
the 7 core 10amp trailer core .. was the best idea.. now the circuit runs as follows
......
left hand high beam wire was spilt , added a double round female...
each split ran off to a rocker and back to energise its relay ( 2 off )
two power wires, ran from the + batt, thro a fuse ( 2 off ) , to its relay and off to the HID's/centre HID
earthed as per .
today , very proud of my work, and under the bonnet,, looks tidy as...
the relays/fuses, got installed tucked away beside the batt. out of site..
now its time to have a beer... cheers boyz ... butane xxxxLast edited by butane8; 15-01-2013, 08:59 PM. ..lets take her out for a spin... butane

... no more than 100mm higher than stock headlight possition. and must be in pairs.. i dont think i eva will get questioned about my set up unless its a rego check..
or using them ilegally blinding other motorists.. ( not in my nature ) as my normal driving style is to dip my high beam when i approach any crest or hill top. without seeing the other car
if no one is coming over the hill . i hit 'em up again , just courtousy... evan if the lift height was taken into account/ larger tyres i would be close to legal in total height ... i have no need for it to be connected around town.... but i am only acting on my understanding of the rule.. just in case i find someone who wants to be difficult.. cheers butaneLast edited by butane8; 24-03-2013, 05:49 AM. ..lets take her out for a spin... butane

had a big tidy up
spent the whole weekend on the rig , mainly giving it a good srub...
alot of T.L.C. , and alot of product. rain-ex on the front window come up nice...
got rid of the wiper marks on a clean window
used a turtlewax product on the black plastic trim ( called "black chrome" ) , for the rear veiw mirrors,, needs a few more goes but , its the best result so far, ...
removed the rubber mud flaps extensions , quik hit with sand paper ,
and a coat of tyre black come up nice
just a full detail.. cleaned her up ..vacuum, full wipe down , inside and out. blew up the gernie, .. "doh "
made a few spacers for my recovery shackles, and gave 'em a coat of paint
....pretty much alot of rubbin the prado, just to head out and get it dusty again...Last edited by butane8; 24-03-2013, 05:51 AM. ..lets take her out for a spin... butane
