easy one josh,,, the yellow Box ... still researching the headers and system.. but busha got me sold if i'm gunna "pimp my prado", mose well get the speedo fixed up ... easy cash for the product... sold here...

got plans for a 40mm flat tube rack 220mm front of mid mounting pos. to 220mm of rear roof mount, with under slung leds.. on each corner.. individual micro switches on each rack post .. only eva wanna put my swags up there and light it up, when needed...

going for x3 180 roo-lites on the front , and the forth will either end up on my pit bike or set up as a mad spot light.
on the rear and i will make a steel copy bar , satin black of coarse, rud lugs each side.. high lift tube sleeves , and hoping to sneek a s/s water tank in any shape to fill the space left over... will replace toyo, cast housing for steel sleeve / hitch.. into rear bar.. dont want dual tyre racks etc all that other stuff because i'm a firm believer in the fact
...
that trailer's where invited for a reason..

... but i'll get onto that box because i'd love a true speedo the way i drive my V6.. 6 spd.. man...

the K & N filter went in today... car has never ran better.. lets hope the fuel bill starts too drop once i stop
"driving around like its stolen... "

will clean the mass airflow sensor again at the end of the week... after all the excess oil of the filter is consumed... lol

next on the agenda : yellow box and full exhaust system ..

Hand brake Cable Guide Backet's ( TIP )


was under the prado planning the new exhaust and noticed the handbrake cable on the left side in front of the rear tyre, looked like it had been forced up into the floor pan/sill creating a tight " U " ... the guides were bent

went thro my photo's and it was from a while ago.. but it was right in front of my eyes but i coulnt look past the pradopoint sticker..lol





so be warned ...
checked the right side and it wasn't as bad but needed some guide adjustment too....

It was a easy bracket adjustment ( twisting with simple tools on the car ) so the guides where inline with the cable..
handbrake application is much better ... simple maintanence tip..

looks like the rig gets a winch installation/air compressor

new winch from "aldi" , and air compressor.. sold.. just have to book myself in to fit it one day when i'm bored.. ( next day )



knocked up the winch insert.. lol..



checked packing bit more adjusting but on the money with most of it...

looks like the the bullbar is the flavour of the month.. mose' fix up the those protection plates as well..

filled her up with 98 to the brim today.. reset the trip meter.
new plugs, k&n as well and a clean mass airflow..

stopped driving like a hoon " for now " , lets see how far i get this time, wish me luck

the best thing about a bullbar painted in pressure packs is, you don't think twice about cutting it up and doing mod's.

just ordered new a set of rego "plates" for the rig ... BUTANE was availible...
but not my choice... but the theme of my rig has always been a reflection of my navy service .

" DDG 41N " in white letters on black... i'll be driving the prado to the next re union / anzac day for shore..

p.s. and the better half gets her plates on " her " FG XR6 ... the rig just got some ballz lol . nice ... , i' mean new plates...

butane, looking good.

there lower protection pans on the side of the ARB bar are designed to fit inside the bar. sorry to be picky.

I'll fix up those plates too.... still remember..thx for the tip...

time to see how those new handrake shoes are going

I'll make time this week to rip the back wheels off and have a look at how

race plugs and k&n filter..... took the rig for a run up the freeway for fathers day... the engine has a different note down low.. but still
its feels like its revin' harder but the tachco is still where it should be.. it was hard not too explore ...

behaved my self and tried to go easy on the throttle feed.. but it was deffinately better in less foot down... i'd hold a spot on the foot and let her go after the next gear ... it felt new to drive... engine wise and considering that its got a clutch replacement due...

very good results from me...
