new plugs and k & n air filter

so far on that 98 blended, still spewing",
483km all local street runs except for a kangeroo valley run to kiama and back, with a quik hoot up saddle back mountain

fuel guage sitting at ..just above half. . I'd expect another 60k's around town B4 it switches to the other tank....
if i get to 550km on this first tank. I'll give them both a tick in the box... performance is very good ,, checked oil today same ..
hasn't used a drop.. starting a split sec. quik'r with the new battery.. motor sounds healthy ... clutch isnt a issue any more...,,,

just driving it as i know what the rig likes ... got my self a nice V6 prado....

Sounds like good economy butane for virtually all around town start/stop stuff. I was down your way last weekend, Windang, wifes best friends house, cant believe the amount of friggin speed camera's, point to point camera's, hated the drive watching the bloody speedo every second, but hard with cruise control in the hilly area etc off topic a bit but these bloody camera's piss me off, spend more time watching the bloody speedo then the road. Safety my arse all about revenue..............My whinge for the night...Cheers Steve

steve thats why i like the yellow box mod. still working on the winch install but the yellow is on my list for sure ,next, that true speedo reading is a must here, in the gong, but its not the fixed camera's that is a prob. its the mobile radars that can catch me when tuning my rig... and giving it a charge {battery} lol .. cheers butane i love my V6.. mickey T's 5 rib good around town.. but speedo out

purchased the new lights for bar

picked up three off these 7" 55w hids , x2 spread , x1 spot w/clear covers...Xenon lamp 55w 6000k
wiring etc for $310...



have found a oz dealer who sells the color lenses covers for 24 bucks ea.

should look alright with the x3 on the bar.. and i like the built in ballast...

full range of spares thro the same dealer... cheers butane

they were a better deal then the roo-lites that's for sure and the light supplier is organising a spare ballast/bulb in his next shipment, rough quote $35 delivered,, happy as larry

new lights

lights here , been looking at the lights for a bit trying to set it off as one above the rest ... build up's.. ,

the new lights are well matched to the 120's main head light lenses... got one of these each side .. with a clear / spot centre,
plenty of clearence for what i'll need from the stardard arb. holes, and vertically the front face of the light is 20mm behind the number plate so , a real nice fit and well researched purhase, x3 .... cheers butane

new light fit up

clearance all round good fit, 5mm on centre light when bonnet is lifted , with the curve off the grill... that was the closest point..







will pull 'em apart and have a look inside now ... looks good too me ..cheers butane

so now i can fit my winch to the bar

now the lights are on the bar, the 500amp isolater is next gotta find a spot on the bar for it... B.R.B,

i know where i wanted it on tucked behind the near side spottie, going in to check some clearances...
