Any suggestions on where to put the 1Kg fire extinguishers as they wont fit under the side of the centre seats like they did in the 120.
I have it attached behind the head rest of the seat to the Cargo barrier , it rattles and I'm not happy having it at that height in case of a collision.

Your prado looks great! Just wondering where you mounted the Radio unit? I like the way you brought the hand set out I take it you just cut out enough room in the corner to bring out the lead. Is it easy to disconnect if needed though?
I have done 100k on the dobinsons and they have been good to a point.
They handled well on the road and were excellent off road. However, I Have just changed them for bilstiens shocks and springs with a rear air bags as the front end stated to sag and the ride was starting to get soft with a swaying feel for passengers in particular. I haven't been off road as yet with these , but a significant improvement in on road feel has been achieved. The installer ( well regarded by the serious off road competitors here in perth ) described the dobinsons as an average shock absorber and the bilstiens as quality.

Hi All,
I promised some extra shots of the fittings for you.
Dual battery

Hmmm that wouldn't happen to be the 105AH Allrounder would it? I started to figure out how I was going to install mine yesterday. I have to agree with EVERYONE when I say, What a bloody stupid place to put an air con hose!
Anyway, would you be able to tell me what battery tray you used? I decided to go cheap and get a Supercheap tray. Should work with a bit of modification.
One final point, whenever I look at other peoples engine bays, the air con hose in my GX always looks so much worse on impacting the second batter position then anyone else's.
Cheers,
Andrew.

The AC pipe is in the way to fit even a 12" battery. Can be moved but be careful. I would imagine the mount for the AC pipe is the same for everyone.
Should look the same as this, photo for another purpose but you can see the mount. Don't undo the alloy looking nut which is closest to the pipe, appartently it goes hissssssssssssssss and then you need $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get cold air again.

Here are a couple of pictures of my Air Con pipe. To me, the hose looks like it is longer and heads towards the air box further then others I've seen. Annoying.
I think will be able to fit the 12" battery in, the pipe will just be very tight.
I did read which bolt to undo which meant I did not lose my gas...
A little mud and dirt is still present proving that my Prado has indeed been offroad!
