Dan,
They look great on your 150. Like the colour as well. Worth the wait.
Cheers

If there are no sharp edges maybe I need to drop the plate off my TJM steps and guillotine the roll over.
Great looking VX Daniel.
PS: Hutch any pics for me? OK I saw the picture in your build but hard to tell, did you linish the edges too?
Thanks mate, my work painter did Robs as well - said a lot of prep work went into getting the edges right on the TJM ones, lineshing etc to get them smooth. Made them look fantastic on robs car.

Thanks Robert, the Redarc came up a treat as well - happy with where they hid it. It will be interesting to run the multimeter over it today and compare some numbers on the Fullrivers we have?

They certainly did a top job Dan. I really like the idea of keeping it in a zone of cool air.
I re-did my dual batterys just before our fraser trip and was monitoring them. Looks like I picked up about 0.2 of a volt with thicker wiring and left my isolator in place. The aux stayed at 12.8+ for most of the trip ( and we were running the fridge ) as the alternator was pumping decent charge back into the Fullriver with daily drives it seems.

Daniel I thnk you will find the Redarc does a fantastic job keeping the AGM charged. I have only had mine wired up for a week or so and the car has done very few trips. With the old system in the 120 I would notice the AGM running down under those circumstances but the AGM is showing a full charge. Doing a run up the coast today so I will see what the battery says when I arrive. I know there have been some posts on here about the DC DC charger running the main battery down but I did a lot of research including bending the ear of some guys in Redarc and one of the other options and I am confident it will be fine. I am going to put a Volt/Volt meter in the cabin and keep an eye on them but so far I am really happy with my Redarc BCDC. I will also wire up the battery monitor to the fridge and check what is going on there.
When I had the 'conventional' dual battery system I could still put 6 or 8 hours of charge into the AGM with a smart AC charger after a long run. Now that could be because the AGM didn't want to accept a full charge in the heat of the engine room or that the alternator simply wasn't able to give the AGM the charge it wanted. So far it seems pretty clear to me that the BCDC does its thing with the AGM very well. I will do the same test one of these days and see. I just need to keep an eye on the whole system to make sure I am not sacrificing the main for the benefit of the auxiliary. Don't think I am.

Nice work on the treads, how do you think they will hold up with foot traffic.
Also have those two side access Andersons for you. I'm around home tomorrow and Monday if you are coming past. Other than that work on Tuesday and around home on Wednesday and then heading to airport.
Time will tell Paul, they reckon a few good years, but if else fails we just pull them back off and clean them up and put them back on as plan alloy again.

Dan
Had a multimeter on it this morning. 12 hours rested.
12.85 volts in the Aux Fullriver AGM
12.78 in the Century 4WD Heavy Duty Main wet cell.

Finally fitted our new ProRack Whispbar HD racks last night in prep for our Fraser trip on Friday. Always impressed with the Prorack quality and how the hide the Allen keys, spanners etc in the end caps.
