So yes, it's running now - and going damn quick!! The power increase from NA to SC is absolutely fantastic. Adding the 7th injector and computer also showed some improvement, though not as substantial as the first increase.
General slow/idle driving (~2,000 RPM) has more torque and accelerates faster - but you could easily miss the difference. There's no audible change in this RPM range either, so it's definitely a sleeper in that regard.
Above 2,000 RPM the whining sound starts and it's audible outside of the vehicle. Pushing the throttle 1/2 to 3/4 creates an aggressive amount of power - the front of the body lifts and it picks up speed in half the time as before. Today I tried a very steep uphill with around 3/4 throttle - it started with wheel spin before surging up aggressively with an occasional chirp. A completely different vehicle!
I wonder how much power it'd have if I wasn't running such a heavy combination of 33's and steel rims........
Seeing that post just makes me want to supercharge/turbo mine... I hate you! i have no money...

Sure, after the dyno tune I'll record and upload some At the very least I'll provide a before & after comparison video displaying the speedo & RPM acceleration. Then we'll see if this power is really imagined or not....
No wings necessary but some training wheels might help on corners - or perhaps a lowering kit? :x
I guess it was a matter of time before you did this! I was super keen to do this or a 1UZ conversion but I find it so hard to justify with a 15 year old car. plus now I have my G6 as my fast car i'm not so worried now.
BTW is the fuel economy any better.

Yeah it was only a matter of time! I was going to wait for when the engine needs a rebuild, but this unit was offered to me at a good price so I jumped on it
I don't have any fuel figures yet but definitely will in the new year. I've been through a tank of 98 octane pretty quick, but lost the receipt so unable to calculate. It wouldn't have mattered anyway - the first few tanks will have excessive fuel usage for obvious reasons
EDIT: Only 127kW? How much are we meant to have stock? =/

Oh... I must've been reading engine power the other day when I seen 130kW...
Nice! Time for me to cry now...
