its ok.. my only problem is the equaliser... well the lack of equaliser.. sound quality coming from hte unit is average if you want heavy bass etc.. not liek ht easy to use stock prado system..

other than that its been great...

The only problem is there aren’t good brands with the same features.
and if there was its to expansive.
I guess the other option is to run the speakers through a Amp which sould give you a few more frequencies to play with.

dont get me wrong i still love this headunit and wouldnt want a car without one...

im looking at getting a tv tuner for it aswell... if its something you think you might want, get one with a tuner built in!!! its gonna be a right pain to install a tuner after already wiring this up...

Just wondering what size LPG tank your running and how low it sits? What kind of protection does it have?

its a 90L tank (68L useable)

replaces the main tank at the back. has a bash plate covering it 6mm think

and doesnt sit much lower than the standard petrol tank. mayb 25mm lower.

ive hit mine a few times when bottomed out with no issues. (i dont push it hard on rock tho.)

Do you have any pics of your bash plate, personally still in two minds with mine leaning towards just keeping the 62L and avoid the clearance issue.

In what instances have you bottomed it out?

mainly when i slip into ruts... so its not too bad when is muddy.

been a while since i updated. Ive now put the roof racks on and had a few issues with transmission and fuel usage.

my transmission, at random times, wont kick down. I cleaned the MAF, had a full transmission flush and this made it better but still does it sometimes (mayb 1-10 times i drive 10min into the drive)

also my fuel usage has gone from 360l/100 down to340l/100 (roof racks) and has dropped even more over time all the way down to 220-240l/100km

im pretty worried about this so any advice on what to do would be great..
ive had it dyno tuned etc with no improvements.
