It should also be acknowledged that soft roaders have their place in sandy environs where a grader (and or something to point and laugh at) is not available.
Is there a policy stating that depending on what type of vehicle recovered as to what cost is incurred for said recovery (EG Nissan= carton, great wall = don't bother[or see above point and laugh comment]).
also is there a IVT (inferior vehicle Tax) component? could also be known as SVT (shi....... you get the idea..........). For those who should just not be there (eg: hyundai getz on the canning, Great wall .... umm anywhere).

Draft Policy: Road Kill & Widlife
All native animals are sacred and the taking or eating of native animals is permissable to sustain human life only. Any disregarded or abandoned native Road Kill may be taken by anyone possessing a real 4wd (defined under a separate policy).
All introduced species may be taken, killed, tortured or otherwise dealt with at any time. These species include, but are not limited to: Dogs (excluding Dingos and Dingo cross breeds), cats, vermin, camels, Pommies, cows, sheep (except Merino which are an adopted Australian animal), goats, other nationalities not possessing a 4wd (ie not assimalated), giraffes, elephants, pteradackyls, goldfish (God knows why one would be on the road), Carp, and pidgeons.

Draft Policy: Definition of 4WD and current SVT rates
The following are classed as premium 4wd's: Prado-any series, Toyota Landcruiser- any series, Toyota Hilux-any series, Toyota FJ-any series SVT rate is 0%
The following are classed as standard 4wd's: Nissan Pootrol-any series, Landrovers, SVT rate is 10%
The following are classed as sub standard, but acceptable subject to modification 4WD's: Discos, Jeeps, X5's, SVT rate is 30% plus an additional 18% if imported into Australia. Bitumen tax of 89% may apply if the vehicle fails to drive through 80 meteres of soft mud to a depth of 700 mill.
The following are classed as landfill looking for a home: ALL softroaders, Terrorcans, Great Walls, Sangsayongs, SVT rate is 74% plus the bitumen tax of 89%.

We are working on a recently discovered loophole where our policies ignore anything without a low range option. This was an oversight because technically we do not acknowledge these weird contraptions as vehicles capabale of licensing.

MLC, policy drafting and lazy shite.

MLC, No knowledge of The Roo, apart from the forum, he does appear to be somewhat dis-orientated though. I would suggest that he get a good dose of stubby stick driving into him, he must realise that our policies and existance are here purely for our benefit and the benefit of other 4WDrivers.

I may have to arrange for the Pradopoint Fairy to visit The Roo for a party and policy induction session. These by the way are run at the cost of the inductee (liquid refreshments) and the secret location is decided by the Pradopoint Fairy and will require the use of the stubby lever to be reached. I believe that after the induction session he will be eligable for a ministerial role.

See ya on the tracks, El Presidente.

Yes I have never been very trustworthy;-)

As for our Language policy, the only language anyone needs to speak is the language of 4WDing! If someone says come and check out the 33's and lockers on my Prado, whether they speak English, greek or Swahili the language is universal.

people driving Great Walls or Tata's could also be dealt with under the "impersonating a 4WD" policies.

dear 4WDing First party, I would like to know what your policies will be around self serve car washes?
This speicifically relates to those that give you "that look" when you roll in with a suitably muddy 4WD after the weekend away.

May I suggest these rogue operators be banished from ever operating a car wash again, or even better be made to give 4WD's free washes for life.

                Hi BlackVX

There are operators that will be granted "Exhalted" status for their contribution to the 4WDriving First Party, one such example is the operator on the west side of Broken Hill opposite the Woolworths that has a bay set up for "Muddy 4WD's Only". He not only welcomes us but also cleans up after us before the next car comes through. He also dispenses considerable knolwedge on secret fishing and 4WDriving spots, I vote that he be considered for the position of Minister for the Environment.

Regards Prince of Gods Own Country.

As a supporter of this most bodacious 4wding First Party, I would like to put forward two ideas, which you may or may not wish to implement as policy.

                        1) Similar to the 'No Through Road' policy previously passed, All "Summer Only Road" signs should be immediately scrapped and replaced with "Winter Only Road" signs.
                        2) In regards to the car wash issue raised by BlackVX, I propose that all car wash businesses be maintained by bikini clad women (approved based on photographic application by the 4wding first party members) who like to wash dirty 4wdrives using buckets full of bubbles, and don't mind getting wet and dirty in the process. I believe this will benefit ALL supporters of the 4wding party. Definitely a 'policy for the people'.....

                        Regards
                        Ian - Party Supporter...
                        Diesel Prado with various things...

Is there a reward for out-performing so called tougher 4wd's (ie Highly modded Pootrols), i have done this many times...... and I'm sure many of the party members have done this too.

This could be the best policy yet, sheer briliance I think, I suggest we move this item to the top of the agenda for the first meeting.
