2 locals were towing a Landcruiser ute with another towards Kalgoorlie for repairs. The lead (TOWING) LC ute suddenly came to a stop. Unfortunately, the driver of the TOWED vehicle didn't realize what was going on ahead of him. He abruptly swerved to miss his buddy and narrowly got around the now stationary LC. As he passed his mate the tow rope whipped the TOWING vehicle around causing the driver to be partially ejected from the car. He was scalped on the way out the window before being dragged 40 metres along the road until the vehicles finally came to rest.
The driver of the TOW vehicle is currently being repaired in hospital - yes, he is still alive. The driver of the TOWED vehicle declined to answer questions from the local constabulary. Work-Safe are enquiring as the vehicles belong to a local mining concern.
Yep, they're a bright bunch out here.
