Picked mine up on Friday May the 1st (10 days ago) and clocked up the first 1000 kms on the ODO this afternoon...

Had our 06 prado since october 08 bought it with 83k on clock, currently she has 99k on clock. She is my daily drive. She's an awesome drive too! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :lol:

June 2006, 36k when we got it in late Sept 2007 now reading 57k. we live 500m from a Primary school, and it's our only vehicle, though this may be the year to buy another vehicle, with the children getting into more sport etc.

Picked my D4D up on the 01 Nov 07, just clocked over the 70,000km on it and it is going in for its 70K service on Wednesday this week. Then I head off to Brissy on Monday to pick up the camper trailer so I will have 77,000 on it by the following weekend. So I will be booking it in for its 80K service in about 4 weeks time. :shock: :lol: For me a car is a tool to be used for what it was designed for, that and I enjoy driving. :lol:

2003 GXL 3.0 ltr, 135798 klm, 87,000 with 2 1/2 tonne van on the back, and about to go off again. Serviced every 5000k, mostly by me, as dealers only kick the tyres and change the oil with whatever is the cheapest brand they bought in bulk. Supply the oil (Delo400) myself if being done at dealers at major servicing, and that is another story in itself. 150k timing belt chage coming up and don't know where to take it to. Anyone know a fair dealer in VIC border area ???

Myns just clicked over 80 thou (01 T/D grande), the old 97 grande petrol we sold had 186k on it. Still in the process of adding all the gear to the newer one, still to go, cargo barrier (half one), lift, bullbar, dual batts, lockers, have uhf, lightforce, and a few other things I pulled off the old one. Wish I had kept the steel bar but too late now.. Hopefully the 1KZ will be as good to me as the old V6 was, had a rear main leek, and warped front discs when we sold it, BUT we bought it for $16500 3 years ago with low klms and sold it for exactly the same, lost on the lift, $1500, bull bar I got cheap (ebay) but doubled our money on some wheels we bought and resold so payed for bar, cargo barrier I left in it but only payed $100 for that off ebay, was quoted $800 to fix rear leak and replace front rotors and pads but sold as was. So really didnt lose too much at all. Paid $24 for the diesel grande we have now ?? Not sure if it was too dear or not but the klms were extremely low plus been the grande has all the gear.... Hope we dont have the dreaded head problem I have heard about :? :? but hey if it goes I fix it, worry about it if it happens..other wise extremely happy with it especially the economy after the V6 been fairly thirsty but still a great motor.Regards Steve

8/05 V6 model with 50,000k when we bought it in December 07. Has now done just about 82,000 - best vehicle i've owned or driven (except, Patrol seats are better) in 40 years! Cheap as chips to run on LPG and love the low cost servicing.
