Wow I just received my insurance renewal. I have full 4wd insurance via the FWDVIC insurance plan, rating 1, on $55K agreed value and all accessories, they want $1800 up from $1600 last year. I think I might get some quotes tomorrow.

No one mentions TCIS. I have been with them for a couple of years now because they cover all accessories and also cover you where ever you are whether it be on road or off road. They also cover your camping gear etc. Give them a look

I'm with TCIS mate, mentioned it a few posts ago. How have you found them over the years? I've got the Prado insured with them here for full comprehensive agreed value plus accessories. The premium isn't cheap, but hen again insuring anything in South Hedland isn't cheap. People around here have a nasty habit of doing some dumb sh1t to other peoples property, mate have I got some stories about this joint, only the forum doesn't have the bandwidth for me to tell em.Originally posted by ptnlinda View Post

Yes they are a bit dearer but having the comfort of knowing that you are covered whilst out playing compensates for that. Also comfort in knowing all accessories like lift kits etc are also covered. The first year I was with them they were very competative and have found them to be so since. Yes there is cheaper insurance out there but will it cover you as well? I would rather pay a little extra to know I'm covered rather than try and save a few dollars and then go through a heap of angst and hardship should anything unexpected happen to the vehicle.2012 GXL White Prado.
