    Re: fuel prices

I know it sounds like bragging but up here gas prices went from over $4.00 (US)/gal., to about $1,89 (US)/gal in about 4 months.

    I hope it stays low.

Looking at the Terminal Gate Prices we should be around the $133.78..Complete rip off
The following is a more acurate representation of bowser price. Terminal Gate is trade price I think

Today in Melbourne it is 105.9 for unleaded and 135.9 for diesel.
Good to see the prices are finally going down.

Broken Hill on Tuesday: Diesel ranged from 148 to 151.9 Unleaded was around 130. It was about 5c/L cheaper at the Adelaide stations I noticed on the way home.

Good trip. We would have been close to make the 506km return to Adelaide on the one tank, but better to be safe than sorry.

Diesel in Darwin has just dropped two cents per litre from $1.559 to $1.539. Quick to rise prices... but sloooow to drop back down. :?

In late 2003 diesel was $1.15 in Cape York and the travellers were crying. I though it was alright.

 Yup, I paid $1.54 the other day in Perth. Only put 65 litres in to test the second tank distance before the red light comes on. So far 470kms at 1/4 of a tank, so happy so far.
