                Darwin:

Interestingly, the SHELL FUEL website indicates the following prices:

                Fuel Type Price

                Unleaded 105.9
                Diesel 112.8

But just drove past a couple of BP Fuel outlet and their prices were still at around $1.28 and $1.35 respectively. Will double-check the Shell Service station pump price in a minute.

 I wonder what's the legal obligation for the SHELL Service Station is if I print-out a screen capture of the lower price demand that I receive fuel at that price. Otherwise it would be false advertising, right :?: :?: :?:

Just had a look at that site...

Yep... got it. Normally the site is pretty accurate. Not sure why the significant disparity at the moment. I hope this is an indication of falling prices in Darwin!

Oh well, at least I've still got another 100L to decide when I need to fill up.

                      Come to think about...
That site said my local was 93.9c for unleaded... I'm sure it was still over the $1.00 mark when I drove past today :?

Look, I may get easily excited but I went to fill up with Diesel today and it was cheaper than ULP. Lawnton Catex had Diesel @ 110.9 and ULP @ 113.9, just up the road @ Brendale there was a 4c difference.

Finally....some good news. Only a few months ago I paid over $2 in Southern NSW, thats like $144.00 cheaper on my average fill up.

Well, well, well... Diesel in Darwin is almost cheaper than ULP.

Currently $1.319/L for diesel; $1.309 for ULP.

But according to all other sources, diesel should definitely be cheaper... but for some strange reason its not. Amazing every consumer can see this, but the fuel companies and the Consumer and Fuel Watch Dogs cannot.
