Does anyone own or used a Kipor branded gennie? Bunnings are flogging them off for around $650 for a 1kva. A lot cheaper than their Honda opposition, but for the amount of use it will get, it should be just fine I'm thinking.

Ive got a kipor 2kva.
Its a good unit and has never let me down since ive had it (2years).
Its true its not a silent genny but wtf do you want from a genny... Its a genny not a fridge.
I use mine in my house in a custom circuit wired in at the fuse box in Cyclones up here in FNQ.
It runs the fridge, a few lights and the TV.
No power spikes as of yet and no blown appliances.

Any genny is only good for about 85% of it's rated output continuous.2005 GXL KZJ120 3.0TD.
