May I just say on a serious note that wow this is a fast moving thread!!! I go to type a response to something and by the time I finish there's 5 more posts to read. KLC are bloody fast typers!!!


I have started a possum typing training school, hopefully soon we will be able to sit back and the possys will take dictation (don't be rude Jasen) and type for us.

Geez, I go away to work for the afternoon/evening and find your typing trained possums have been working overtime, another 6 pages added to this thread LOL.

I've been trying to train my possums to link paws and make a comfy seat cover for me, the leather gets a bit cold in winter. They get antsy when I turn on the tooshie warmers though, that and they don't seem to like being sat on. Any training tips for this situation?

Excuse my absence but I have been off working in the shed and stealing from some of the smaller neighbourhood children, but their losses were for a worthy cause.
With the aid of two possys with sharpened teeth and bellies full of caffeine I cut the engine out of my car (another use for possums, "jaws of life" emergency recovery equipment) and replaced it with the drivetrains of 4 kids pedal cars (yes the ones I stole...not so GRAND theft auto) and then placed 4 possys under the hood to work them.

Let me tell you all, "Horsepower", pffft I laugh at horsepower.........it will become a word that fades into obscurity from now, four possums is all you need and that's if you've got BALLS (if not two possys will suffice), I don't know what the quickest time my car now gets from 0 to 100 as the G forces keep breaking the stop watch, along with making little poopie marks on the drivers seat (sorry but you just cant help it).
To power the possys is extremely efficient, you just give them 1, AND ONLY 1 coffee bean every 24 hours and those little buggers will just go like the energizer bunny (he should be a possum too). I think the only real down side to this new power plant will be the rate I go through tyres as I keep breaking traction and doing four wheel burnouts all over the place.

There will be some further testing before they can hit the market, and will have to go to AJ120's mate for some more crash testing because hey we are all going to crash at some stage with this awesome new amount of power we will have. We will be like TOP GUN, racing fighter planes down the runway, except we will win!!!
I have to go and put my white lab coat back on now and try some more experiments, oh and put back the remaining pedal car pieces I stole, but I will keep you posted as new developments arise.

Oh and a little tip for you Fido. When you use the possums for seat covers just do a little fart as you sit down, it kind of gasses them into a relaxed state and they are then happy to be sat on. I know you girls say you don't fart, but it will just be our little secret ok shh.

Bendman I had to pull an all nighter on the car but have finished now ( I just ate some of the coffee beans myself and the hours flew by)

Does anyone understand the new Fringe Possum Tax? Something about no longer being allowed to use your possum for 'statutory' purposes? I think you must now keep a log book journaling all the times you shave your possum (not for pleasure).

I go away for the evening and the possums have taken over. On a more serious note I am thinking of scrapping the idea of some play tyres and just strapping several possums to the tyres similar to chains. The combination of the extra height and claws should make traction a certainty. Just have to work out how many facing forwards and how many facing back. Should be relatively easy though. Lucky I have many many trees with ready to use possums.

The tightening up of FPT is just to ensure people who aren't using their possums for 4wding purpose pay a tax for the privilidge. Won't affect us serious 4by drivers at all. Just keep a log book with 3 weeks of possum usage and you can then apply this for the next 15 years as long as there are no manifest changes in the use of the possums.

We don't have to worry about it, we know people who KNOW people, so it will be sorted at the highest level. I believe as a KLC member you are now exempt from any and all possum taxes and actually get very substantial rebates.

MJ that's a fantastic idea......with your huge backyard (based on your torch photos) I think you should go into a possum breeding program.

With all this talk leading to splinter groups and party policies I wonder if you have thought to run this past the Pradopoint key political lobby group, The 4WDriving First Party? It probably doesn't matter as a party policy is to do nothing anyway.

HaHa, just tried it and the possums are all nice and sleepy now. Of course maintaining that state could be an issue so I'm off to eat a plate of baked beans.

The thought of contacting the 4wd first party did occur to us for a moment but we thought it redundant as we soon came to the realisation the we are not nor do we ever intend to be a political party, as it is all just too confusing and takes up to much precious time to think up all the lies to tell the voters.
We as a group or "club" as our name states are focusing on the much simpler goals of being cool, drinking coffee, and training possums for our future plan of total world domination.
After we have achieved our goal of taking over the world we may very well be in touch with you as having someone to govern the masses while we focus on sipping our lattes from Mt Olympus will be of great help.
That being said the swapping of stickers is always a fun thing!! It shall be run past the P and VP once they are back online. I just happen to have a sticker & sign man up my sleave who frequents my local tavern for an ale so the KLC will have to get working on some designs.
