      Nowhere exciting just a business trip to Japan for Board and Budget meetings for a full load of pineapples. As for the toy here is a hint: the engine produces 430kW.

          I know there are plenty who think it is stupid but since I got wind of the concept I have had a deposit down. Bit over a year now. The last 6 weeks are agony.





          I've opted for the forged alloy wheels and smaller spoiler on the bootlid. Should be nearly enough power. Front disc rotors are 390mm diameter!

            430kw and the state limit is only 110km/hr. You'll need to join a club and get off on a circuit day at your local race track. I do this once a year in my Cobra just to blow the cobwebs out and give myself an adrenalin rush. Actually, I usually shi& myself when it goes off at 200 plus!

              Yes Dave, I have options that are legal to explore it. My current R8 puts out about 350 - 360kW and with the suspension and driveline that is about the limit. It will happily fry the tyres in the dry up to and including the 3rd/4th change. And that is using good tyres with traction control firmly on. The GTS has a whole new torque vectoring differential and suspension from front to back so I trust it can put the kW on the track. As it is pretty much a Camaro ZL1 I take heart from the reviews and information I read from the States.

              Anyone who hasn't sat in a new VF of Gen F I recommend you do so even if you have no interest in buying one. It is heartening to see just how far the humble Commode has come.

                Used to do the odd track day with my F355 years ago, then I started doing bike track days, that can have some very puckering moments lol
