They still need clear weather to be able to see properly, hence the scratchy images from down south due to the rain and clouds.

There was an "expert" on the radio the other day talking about those images. If they had Military satellites down there they would be able to get very good images, but the fact is there is nothing down there that the Military are even slightly interested in, hence they don't look there.

its probably one of the reasons that it landing in one of the "stans" is unlikely, as you can be assured that the world military satellites would be looking pretty damn hard around that part of the globe.

On a completely unrelated topic, if anyone wants some Aluminium sheet I have about 100 tonnes of it for sale along with around 300 really comfortable seats and some huge tyres that I think would go well on a Prado with a 40" lift Also is it safe to run my wifes Rav on Avgas?

What farm are the 200 Chinese from the plane at AJ? I bet you have got them picking strawberries on a farm out your way. You'd be raking in the money and chucking them the odd bag of rice to keep 'em happy.

Well that's the end of the theories as to where it may be. How it got their remains a mystery but an opportune time to say on behalf of us all:

RIP to those that lost their lives, condolences to those that lost love ones.

We still haven't found any identifiable wreckage and theres still the matter of the black (bright orange) data recorder.

But the data recorder will probably have 2 Hrs of silence if they lost consciousness around the last call - we will still be in the dark.

All this huffing and puffing is jut to put us off the scent. Its parked at a secret base near the Muldives don't you know?

The 'black box' delivers two separate functions. The voice recorder, which has 2 hours of voice, and the flight data recorder which has about 20 hours of flight data. Once recovered, (or in this case, "if" recovered) they provide the best data from which to reconstruct the problems that beset MH370.
