  • How much have you spent on your rig??

    Just wondering how much others:

    1) Have already spent on their rigs; and

    2) How much more they plan to spend.

    This game has the potential to easily send you broke (as many of us have discovered)!!

    However, it doesn't seem to deter us any...

          07 Prado GXL, D4D manual, silver and a fridge with constantly changing beer levels.

            Didnt seem like much at first but then listed it all for the insurance company and they dont want to know about an additional $19,850!

            Im going to lay down now

            If I break my Patrol I can always rescue it with my PRADO

                    i bought a GX as i knew i was going to spend a bit doing it up rather than getting a GXL , im over 10G now easy , but that is including the suspension i have sitting here to be fitted + the fridge . Winch next then UHF i'll be over 12G .

                    Still running just about less than getting a standard GXL :shock: ok nearly there 8)

                        I have spent over $23,000 George Bush Dollars on my FJ and recovery gear. Thats almost the cost of the vehicle it's self.

                            13G before it was a month old, and a couple of thousand since, and at least another 5G to go (rock sliders/winch/diff locks) but then I have no intention of selling, except maybe to upgrade to a D4D if a few years, in which case most of the gear will be transferred to the new rig.
