      I've only been there twice, not sure why I remember it and especially from that angle. Camped at the Nat Park there about 27 years ago and got bitten by a possum but otherwise it was a great weekend. We sometimes go up into that area on the dirt roads from Helidon and then back on some country roads to Esk.

                          Yep, you got it MickL. We went up just after XMas. We crossed the Leisha Track over to Rainbow Beach but the Rainbow Beach side was quite eroded, the beach narrow, and there was no access further North even towards low tide. These beaches are about to have access fees (taxes) which the 4x4 community here are quite upset about :evil: :evil: . These were the last free access beaches close to Brisbane. There were two RBT set ups along the Teewah beach as well that day.

                                Located in former gold mining town and then railway town, now virtually a ghost town except for the road and rail crews using it as a base camp.

                                The giveway sign in the picture is covered in stickers from various 4wd clubs and magazines.
