Lots of terms I could use to describe the Oodnadatta track, boring would not be one of them! One of my favourite drives, particularly the Southern Section, and that part particularly when its been very dry for a long time.

Well for me there were only a few highlights through there, the painted desert, mound springs and of course Lake Eyre. The old rail line doesn't interest me much but I still have respect for it - I wasn't impressed with peoples desire to rip up the old line just to spell out their names!

Anyway, for you, that must be one of those tracks you were referring to once before, when you said you've driven tracks harder than anything I have ever seen...
