As the wife is the minister of the interior
    She gets to clean it.
does a much more thorough job than I would.

Shit... Not sure how well that would go down with my missus... How do you broach that topic? After good sex? "hey babe, the inside of the car needs a scrub up"...

No, you let her seat/side get really, really dirty, then when she complains you say" well it is man clean now, if you want it cleaner I won't be offended if you clean it"

I have one big problem there my missus knows that I will lose it before then and just clean it myself. Have a bit OCD issues - medication not yet through human trials - haha

            [QUOTE=JimmyC;541319]..
            1. 4wd's are expensive to buy
            Agreed.
            2. The amount of arguments I've had about the Prado being a 'soccer mum' car
            Not Applicable being a shorty.
            3. The thought process of: "I don't need this accessory", 2 months later "maybe I want it if I have the spare cash", 2 more months later "I NEED THIS NOW"
            Mmm.... Yep... never ending mods...
            4. The warped reality you get from having a 150L tank, or 230L in my case. "oh no I only have 1/2 a tank showing, better fill up right now!" but in reality you still have more fuel left in the tank than 90% of the cars on the market hold when full
Haha - yep. Got 133L long ranger replacement tank installed and whenever I filled up, so far, I never seem to fill more than 55Ls, that is even after I did after 760kms in a day.
            5. Constantly trying to explain to people how the tri-zone climate control works
Meh - more than two is show off
            6. Explaining to people why I have 2 antennas on the bulbar
So far - I don't have that issue. And kind of regretting getting one installed. Just annoyance, used by trollers. Even on the highway - I don't hear much. Hopefully, it changes in a convoy situation.
            7. Being my first diesel coming to terms with the weird array of noises it makes that are 'normal' according to everyone else
About the noise - after 3 years - I thought, I am used to the noise. But not really.
            8. Double, triple and quadruple checking that I have picked up the diesel pump at the servo
It goes away after three years and the servo that I normally used got diesel pump separately helps as well.
            10. The constant battle with the rear wing dirt!!
            YES....................

Get caught out once and it'll never go away. Speaking from experience.

You and me both. I hate a dirty car. I always clean ours inside and out after a trip away. She does a crap job (especially outside) She can't reach most of the roof anyway but I'm 6'3" so easy.

I merely let slip that the interior needs cleaning and that's all it takes,I prefer to do the exterior because I'm taller than she is and I'll get up early to wash the car to avoid the heat.

40 Going from diesel to petrol, missing the "high flow" diesel pumps. Though I do enjoy the dirty looks from people when putting 150+ liters in.

41 Feeling more confident on working on 1GR-FE than the 1KD-FTV (no garage or carport to work under). Doing my own servicing.

I've done 201L with a standard flow diesel nozzle before... sucks!
