Car detailers that insist on using tyre shine and armour oil on 4wd, had mine cleaned a few days ago and had tyre shine all over the tyres,cwheels,mud flaps and half the panels on the car. A quick drive this arvo on a gravel road and car looked like it had been bush for months. Good thing i'm doing the Comdamine River run tomorow to wash some of the crpa off.2014 VX D4D. New Australians in brand new 4.8 BMW coupes. Had one today doing 70 in a 100 zone. So I crank up the trusty D4D and start to pass. As I get alongside I observe that he is completely distracted and oblivious to my passing presence. He is deep in conversation with his SWMBO. And then he decides to put the foot down. Hello! I'm over here you tosser - on you're right. Lucky for me there wasn't anything coming. Lucky for me that the 3 litre T/D still had some legs left in her to complete the passing manoeuvre.Dave

Was really ticked off today
Went for a drive to write route noted for the GTG. Now the track I went down, in all the years I have been down it there has never been a tree down across it. Not today though!!!! Over a dozen trees down from either the wind or forestery logging. Over 2.5hrs to drive the 12km.
