Washed the Prado today, noticed a black rub mark on the rear wheel cover. Go to inspect it and notice that someone has given it a nudge with their bullbar and cracked the bottom of it.

Is it that hard to leave a note that you did it? I mean its ugly and all, but dont go breaking peoples property and driving off.

When you spend 60k plus depending on model for a vehicle I think you should be expecting it to be without squeaks or a shit multimedia system its not supposed to be 15k shit tin that's were you would expect it.

give me a break.
if you want a multimedia system that meets your needs and no squeaks buy a jeep. and stay on the black stuff.

As for tin comment. the panels on a Prado are much thicker than most other brands hence the weight of the Prado.

I stepped into a Prado the knowing what I was getting, a capable 4Wd where I was paying for what it was designed to do.

Go out on a trip with people that have other brands, when you get to the end of a track you have the option
Laugh at them listening to the BS multimedia system or drive back and drag them out

Ok there have been some issues injectors a big one.
every time go out I try to push the limits of it's off road capability, yet to find it.
yep every time I stop it"s driver error, wrong line etc...
But yet to get in a position where I cannot back put and go again.
I took quite a lot of time to finally decide on what I would buy GX. GXL, VX.
kaka not in my radar.
GXL final decision and could not be happier. Oh shit it won't read me messages. FFS I can pull over and read the fukkers if it is really that important
we hear people complain about the Multimedia system
So we go out for a drive and relax who cares if the shit box iphone can't connect and read messages,
Oh the radio turns off after 20 min on Accessories
takes to long to engage / disengage different off road systems. what's the rush are you not out enjoying your time in the bush

FFS it's a 4wd not a shopping trolley.

Census take 2 was filling out the form and got denial of service. Dam pen ran out of ink should be able to replace equipment fairly quickly I hope.

I find the factory lights on the VX really good. If i can see it on high beam i have plenty of time to stop. If i cant see it then its too far away to worry about

We run a server in the same ibm farm.
I can confirm there was a massive ddos attack as well as millions of punters trying to log in as well.
The numbers were quite clear (and huge) and blocking of a certain IP range stopped the ddos issues.

I did note today, however that some minutes have surfaced that the committee overseeing the census were expecting overloading of their servers and 3 options were suggested to overcome the issue - reducing the number of questions, lengthening the acceptable time to fill out the survey, or putting more resources into the project.
