I just make sure that things that I am throwing out that are electrical can never be used again, I don't need someone suing me because my rubbish was dangerous.

As well, both our Hobart Tips have "Tip Shops", and they are the only ones allowed to scavenge the tip face. Same rules apply, If I am throwing something out, I don't want to see it for sale again...

    I know the feeling
You put it out in neat pile and they go thru it and leave a mess behind.
Had one bloke pull up as i was putting some old steel framed chars out he wanted them for scrap.
told him i had another 8 he could have if he carried them to his truck.
100M driveway he wanted to drive up, sorry mate if you want em you can carry them.

he did. was the effort worth the scarp value?

We run a server in the same ibm farm.
I can confirm there was a massive ddos attack as well as millions of punters trying to log in as well.
The numbers were quite clear (and huge) and blocking of a certain IP range stopped the ddos issues.

There was also multiple hacks and huge Dos attacks last night on the data centre and IBM servers.
We run (not PP) a server backup in the same IBM centre. Same IP range and all servers were absolutely smashed last night. We had to go in and block a bunch of up address ranges to get ours back up..
To say they screwed the pooch is an understatement.

NBN isn't an ISP - it is a service, much like power.

That said, it has been revealed that they got hacked and DDoS as well.
