When you get a call from the Toyota Dealer to advise the following.
*The rattle in the B-Pillar, its not present today...
*Your mudflaps are not here, sorry we just found out we had to order them from Japan...
*Your overheating transmission, there is nothing wrong with according to the computer...
At that point I may of lost my cool! The ratlle is there, take it for a drive with the windows up, no radio on and try to keep the revs under 3k unlike 6 months ago when you checked for it. The mudflaps, that's just crap! The overheating transmission, well I must of imagined it coming on driving up the Toowoomba Range! However I was nice and pleasent during this but told them to put the wheels back on and I would come and get it once the service is complete.
Quick call back from the service manager...
*The rattle in the B-Pillar, its not present today... We found it, fixed it as yours is about the 10th we have had in with it.
*Your mudflaps are not here, sorry we just found out we had to order them from Japan... Sorry, they will be here in 3 weeks and you can have a loan car for the day whilst we do it.
*Your overheating transmission, there is nothing wrong with according to the computer... We spoke with Toyota, there is anohter update and it has been applied.
*We also fixed the slow leaks in the 2 tyres that you said kept going down, thanks.
Semi happy Toyota Prado owner again. Will be 100% happy if the transmission does not overheat again and the mudflaps arrive before Christmas.
Thats my rant, Daniel-----------------------

Hi Daniel
I have been using Motorama Moorooka and have had fantastic service, are using the "O" one at Springwood, I wouldn't take a wheelbarrow to them.
See ya on the tracks, Richo. (Saturday maybe?)Former Party Leader, Now SDO SEQLD GTG 2015 PFA (Pradopoint Fairy Advisor)

Hey Richo, I learnt the hard way on the one down at Springwood but no this time it was one in the Mt Gravatt area. I would have happily taken it to Motorama 4X4XMore however I had been promised my mud flaps where there. Mud flaps go on and then the next service at Motorama. Mt Gravatt 2 minutes from home, Motorama 2 minutes from work, its an easy choice.
A sad no to Saturday, its my mates and I annual catch up so I will have my drinking shirt on.
Enjoy the trip, I will be there for the next one.
Cheers Daniel-----------------------

Trying to follow the signs to the Spirit Of Tasmania boat.
We started out at Broadmedows trying to get back to the boat. FOund a sign saying "Station Pier" and a picture of the boat, thought you beauty this is going to be easy. Down the the Western Ring Road we go. Every now and then the same sign would appear. Good on the right track. Up onto the West Gate Bridge, sign again this time saying to take Tod Road Exit. Take the exit and then all signs stop. Nothing. Zero.
Well we ziged and zaged our way in the direction we thought we needed to go. Then finally we find another "Station Pier" sign with about 200m to go.
Someone really needs to lift their game up and fix the missing sign issue. My only saving grace was that my wife could read a map (it only showed major raods) and I just followed here directions.Tasmania 2015 GTG Committee Member 2005 Prado Pilbara, Sovereign Bar, Driver & passenger weathershields, UHF TX3220, Spare wheel spaces, Lifestyle rack, Genuine front & midrow seatcovers, Genuine front & midrow rubber floor mats, ARB 47 litre fridge/freezer, Hilux washer jets, BF Goodridge A/T, Radiator protection plate, Dual battery tray and isolator, ARB 2.5m awning, Rhino heavy duty areo bars, MSA rear wheel bin, MAXTRAX

When you get an SMS from a large camping/outdoor chain store saying "A FURTHER 20% off Thurs 22/12 inc catalogue 9am-9pm @....", then you open the paper to see they have the ENGEL MT45 for $1099! So you phone your store and they confirm the details including the final price of $880 for the fridge- you give them your name and telephone number and get them to put one aside. You spend your whole lunch break going to the store and trying to procure the said item only to be refused as fridges were excluded (not written anywhere)!!! Then the manager is too busy to come and talk to you and won't return your calls!!! Snakes!!!!!
Wait, isn't there a store named after a snake???!!!Cheers, Brad
