Might have to rename this thread Pradopoint Street View

This is one of our WA Tech Days .... at Leachy's place.

There's Fishnut's maroon Prado, my white one, Sharky's charcoal and Russ's champagne Prado .... and a group of the lads standing out front. 8) 8) 8)

Yeah ... we recognised it ... but I had completely forgotten about it and can claim no credit for finding these pics.

MattWhite just sent me a text to get me to have a look at Leachy's place ..... and voila. 8) 8)

Yep, had a good look at a few places. Funny thing is, a lot of people in my class at uni who live fairly central in Melbourne didn't have their street shot, but my parents place and a house we own in the back blocks of a country town in tassiw were shot! Weird how they've picked the areas they want to cover.

Its a pretty crappy pic ..... and Google couldn't be bothered with my street .... but ....

I swivelled the camera and had a sideways look up my street ..... and at max zoom ... there is my house and my Prado (to the right of that truck)

What!!! Ahhh Geez... My place got kicked off the Google list as well. Grrrrrr!

Being close to the field I work in (GIS). There is an expectation that this has opened up a huge tin of worms. Most GIS people I've spoken to think that the danger this could get pulled is very real. We take property photos (Houses) and post them up on the web as part of our online service. People have already raised privacy concerns. You can see someone's number plate. You can see someone's butt crack while they're gardening (you think I'm kidding??) You can see George slumming it through the loungeroom window while he's meant to be in Hospital. The Flitzcloon family bbq got photographed while Dave was doing the Turkey dance...... you get the picture.

I notice some beachside joggers got the blurring treatment 8)

Some of those SMH ones are classic.

Great how google got all the boys standing out the front at that tech day, And as usual, there is lots of standing around...... I remember Matt saying he saw the car drive past then, then again while he was at work. My street missed out, they stopped at the roundabout down the end.
I have checked out all the old houses we have lived in from sydney to tassie. they have nearly been everywhere.

I was thinking how many cool pictures would have been taken. There must be a site somewhere just collecting all the good/ funny ones.
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Can't see the Prado at my place but the photo's were definitely taken on a Friday .... cos the garbage bins are out :!: That's not gonna help property values/sales if prospective buyers take a first look at the street and it's littered with wheelie bins

(Hmmm - now I know I'm gettin old ... the first thing I thought of was property value being affected )
