  • I think you copped what went through WA like a dose of salts on Wednesday. Heaps of trees down between Kambalda and Widgiemooltha. Canningvale (Perth) copped a mini tornado with some damage. And just a little bit of rain.

            • 2010 was a pretty wet year for the Nation's capital. 2011 appears to be the coldest on average in the past decade: Coldest year since 2000

Dams are still around 100% - I think I brought the wet weather with me.

                    • Monday lunch time went to get lunch at Wacol (Brisbane western suburb) and got in the car, outside temp was 39 degrees under the carport at work. Went to Subway parked the car, got lunch, came back out max 5 mins and the outside temp in the carpark was 44 degrees, checked the humidity and we had cracked 85%.

We're all still waiting for the massive thunderstorm that usually follows these conditions.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

                          • Oh, those poor Queenslanders - how will they cope? At least they have a beach or river close by where they can cool their feet. I'll just grab another coldy out of the beer fridge.
