    Vacuum cleaners

    Having now taken possession of my shiny new VX I thought I might try and keep it clean (for a while). Our household vaccuum is rather cumbersome so I thought I might look around for something smaller. We've got a small rechargeable dustbuster but it doesnt have much grunt. Supercheap have a 12v portable unit but I have no idea whether it's a serious option or not. Would appreciate comments on what you guys use and would recommend.

    I just have an old one from in the house but put a longer hose on it and it works fine.

      I wash the prado at home then go for a drive down to carlovers to use their vacuum.

        went to church (bunnings) the other day and they have a wet and dry shopvac for 99 bucks on special...Perfect

          when the mrs aint looking i use the dyson. cheers samo :lol:
          had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

                Hmph! I'm the only one who uses the damned vacuum cleaner in our house anyway! I already blew a mid ranger by putting a few gravel stones through it! :roll: :roll: :roll: Really, I think you just get a 'workshop' vacuum with a decent length of hose and go to it. Just keep it for the dirty jobs.
