I spent 7 years in Karratha and 13 years in Geraldton..visted heaps of mine sites from Meeka to Newman, Yalgoo, Tom Price, Magnet, etc

Currently at Christmas Creek, just north of Newman. Used to live in Tom Price, as well as Roxby Downs and Norseman. My job has taken me all over the world - lived in Canada for a while, travelled (for work) to Nevada, Colorado, Salt Lake City, South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Papua New Guinea.

Cut my teeth doing external audits with Deliotte, then moved over to the other side as a financial controller for a manufacturing company, and currently the Finance Manager of a local council. If not at work, i am head chef in my residence and have my hands full with the 4 females i cohabit with. Not looking forward to when my daughters hit their teenage years, but i have a boat and a forby, so at least i have an exit strategy.

I work in IT, have done since 1993.

Mostly desktop support, moved on to IT Management, company got bought out, demoted to Senior Desktop support, but stuck with it, same money, less work.. Prado as a company car. Been there over 10 years now.
Most recently offered the IT Manager job again for the new company, but they required me to move to Wollongong, no thanks, family is too happy and settled where they are.
Have been promoted to a Network Engineer, looking after our global Cisco environment (China, South Africa, Russia, South America, Canada), my boss is in the US..
Back to some classroom training again, to liven up the grey matter in my head.

A change is as good as a holiday and no more people complaining they cannot print....

I work as an Integrated Rating, which is the new (10 years plus) term for an able seaman in the merchant navy. Have worked on fuel tankers, bulk carriers and container ships. Currently Im working FIFO Dampier, on a supply vessel that services a drilling rig. We take out containers and parts and also discharge fuel, water drilling mud and oils up to the drilling rig. Good job, great pay..5 weeks on and 5 weeks off.
Before that I worked as a commercial Tuna fisherman in Port Lincoln, greta place to live and lots of 4wdriving!!

Well looking at most of the Job Positions on here some of us must been feeling like we don't have the job position to be a part of PradoPoint,
With a standard Job,Any way my monthly bill payer is a Facilitator for BOC ,for the Awd/ASC project here in Adelaide.
What is a Facilitator,I solely look after all of the supplies of Gas,Safety and Industrial Products for the War Defence Destrosyer,and the Submarine Site.Keeps me Busy chasing products and Quoting Prices for different products for these Guys.I gues you would say that I'm a salesperson as a classification.

Well have spent the last 15 year do logistics for the defense as a "stinking civi" and contractor at various site through Darwin.
Now just started a new job with DMS in Darwin doing stores and Loggy stuff for the patrol boats. Should keep me busy and four wheeling hopefully.

i looked into moving down to Adelaide, to get a job building those new destroyers, but the missus wasn't to keen on it. As i am ex navy , it would have been the ducks gutz for me as a job.. cheers mate, butane

Wow, lot big job in here. For me, I'm Russian cosmonaut but last year I push wrong button and Major tell me take holiday until report finished so I come to Australia. Now here 12 months, still wait for phone call to return to duty. Not worried, not good time to be cosmonaut at home. Many problems in Russia. Need good toolkit to go into space in Russia. I like Prado, big strong like Soyuz TMA M series. Much safer I think. Less buttons. Nice to meet you all here.
