Director of a market research consulting company. Do research for Channel 9, Sensis, Coles, Monash Uni, building industry, amongst others. If these companies want and independnt view of what people think of them or their (new) products, they call us. We do the audience research and then advise on look, feel, name, price, likelihood of success, brand, product features etc. Office job but diverse. One day i am telling a CEO about new products they should launch or shelve and the next i am trying to find out from a housewife why she drinks Nescafe and not Moccona and what we have to do to get her to drink more Riva!

Yep, there's a lot of diversity here... but there really does seem to be a higher-than-population-average concentration of people from technical backgrounds and management positions... it makes sense, too! :wink:
I'm working in a small product design company in Sydney. We mostly do industrial design for domestic products - kitchen appliances, garden tools, bags, etc. I think I have the title of 'mechanical engineer' (we're so small we don't really use titles here, but almost everyone else is an industrial or graphic designer, and I'm not), but the work isn't all that technical.
Are you suggesting that we are Toyota's target demographic for the Prado :lol:
There certainly seems to be a lot of;
a. Upper end job roles
b. Higher pay bracket
c. Family guy
d. ..... while stilll keen on getting it dirty on the weekends (the car guys, the car)
:? Hmmm..I'm not sure which I fit into there Chippy.! :lol:
I know the taxman assures me I'm earning over the average, but I don't know who's better off after his slice of the cake.!!

Haaahaaa, I agree with you lc120, I couldnt afford one as a single man !
Marriage and kids seem to do someting to your priorities.............. and your finances. As a single man I would still have a 40 series cruiser trayback 8)
I didn't even get to make the decision about a fourby. The missus insisted we needed one as the 3 teenage boys don't fit across the back seat of the Commodore any more.
