Yowie that is fine but mod advice wasn't given until I asked the question about the disappearing posts. Would something have been said if I hadn't? If there is a problem with my posts then tell me why, otherwise I'm just as likely to re-offend in future.

The mods are doing a thankless task. The ones I have met personally have families and busy work lives. Those of us not on the mods team really don't know how much of their time it takes, if getting a few off topic posts in a campfire thread deleted without personally informing the parties involved of the Reasons is the worst thing the mod team does then I reckon they are doing an exceptional job

Well done to all the mods team, keep up the good work! Personally I think Aaron should give you all a 100% pay rise

Likewise no idea. Haven't been in this post for a while. I assumed mine would also be gone. As for mods they have a tough job and I for one couldn't do it.

Jasen and crew already have a possum thread within the campfire section of PP, a hijacked thread in itself which was left to run its course.

this thread was to remain a non possum thread, but considering that the removal of the start of a similar hijack in this thread is still a topic of discussion and that the moderators are receiving criticism for there actions perhaps both threads now need attention.

this one for sure, will not recover...

Instant removal of all posts mentioning possums outside of the currently running possum thread, no explanation required. Continual waste of a moderators time from an individual will be met with infractions.

If you have an issue with a moderator, address it with an admin. I think the rules section has something about public posting of disputes and general etiquette. Incitement of the community by an individual will be dealt with on a case by case, whether it be a standard, financial or corporate member at fault.

Now lets all move on and get back to what we joined this site to do. I for one, would much rather be reading and learning and enjoying that dealing with this.
