Hi all,

Been a little quite on this forum, been busy adding the final touches to a Bachelor degree in science- done now, 4WD fun for the next few months

Had been wanting to get here for quite some time, and finally did- ended up heading in from Kimba along the Buckleboo track, coming in to the park at Paney station- nice track. Camped the first night at Kolay Hut, and really liked it- had a donkey for a hot shower, which is always a nice treat


Tracks arent really hard, but good fun, nice touring more than anything-


Second night we stayed at Yardinna, quite nice, great rock formation, and even saw a rock wallaby

Unfortunately, the rain arrived, and made quite a few photos thru the windscreen a bit ordinary, there is a good sand dune track (~70 dunes worth) but the weather was too bad, and photos no good, will upload them next time (should only be 8 weeks before we get back there). These shots are to the North of the park, near Yardea.



But the rock formations are awesome- really worth a trip

And the stars were awesome! Hopefully these pictures are ok, its quite difficult to get a good shot of them-


Overall a great place, not full on 4WD stuff, but still really cool- The conical hill track is the best in my mind for 4WD as well as providing a great view, but overall, it is a very nice park, and worth a trip if your keen

Great part of our state.

Pity about the rain, but it's been dry for such a long time up there a couple of wet years ain't so bad...

Yeah we loved it, shame it rained, but that is always fun anyway,


Worth the trip, we are due there in 4 weeks again, so will post the other tracks we didnt do

Keep adding Brett as am using this as part of big family trip next year so all information is very worthwhile and as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
