We'll see how the forecast develops. Mt Walker might have to go on hold for me if the shale rocks turn slippery
It was wet when I climbed Mt Walker, but I reckon the patches of dirt and loose rock were more slippery than the rock steps.

        Indeed.

Yeah plenty time for the weather to change. It's been great lately.

At this point I'd have to say my Prado won't be attending, but I'm still hopefull, I just need to rack up 800 soft km's in a week... (750 more than my usual week)......

I've added Angelo to the list as a maybe. Weather forecast has been updated in the OP.

We're now at 18 vehicles confirmed and 3 more (including glen_ep's) to be confirmed.

Okay team, we need to confirm a meeting place ASAP.

Can anyone confirm that the car park next to the train line, between ALDI and Maccas is open to the public?
              http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en...h&z=19&vpsrc=6

I can't see any boom gates or overhanging obstacles, for the Patrols to get stuck on, in the satellite images.

Access would be from Paget St. Maccas would barely be a 5 minutes walk for anyone wanting food or bathrooms and ALDI is right there for last minute supplies (no booze though).

Angelo? I'm noticing you drive a Triton. Is George driving in another vehicle or is he a passenger?

The carpark you highlighted is the railway commuter carpark so is open to public 24/7 and no problems for overheight patrols. Be mindful that access is off Paget st via Windsor St [as paget st is off both sides nth and sth sides of railway line]
Entry is actually opposite brothers place where you will notice parked an unusal custom 1952 ford f150 yellow body grafted onto a toyota 60series landcruiser T/D chasiss

New 2015 150s GX 5 seater with floor mats, towbar and a big wish list
Previously a 2004 120s 1KZ GX silver manual with stuff
before that a 1996 RV6 90S with lots of gear

Yeah, that'll be Angelo, he'll be there with George as passenger.

EDIT: My Prado won't be ready for this trip, so I'll be passenger.. somewhere...

                        Cheers Russ.
I think we should go with this option.

We'll assume this is the case unless A4x4 says otherwise.

So you will be sitting about 6 inches higher than normal?

Nope... Lyfe's Monster Patrol is out. He was out 4x4ing on Sunday and something broke.

                          So I need a ride...

The weather forecast is improving (see first page). Slightly warmer with less chance of rain and lower rain fall predicted.

It's a pity Lyfe can't make it. Keep me posted on what you're doing.
