Yeah plenty time for the weather to change. It's been great lately.
At this point I'd have to say my Prado won't be attending, but I'm still hopefull, I just need to rack up 800 soft km's in a week... (750 more than my usual week)......

I've added Angelo to the list as a maybe. Weather forecast has been updated in the OP.
We're now at 18 vehicles confirmed and 3 more (including glen_ep's) to be confirmed.Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

Okay team, we need to confirm a meeting place ASAP.
Can anyone confirm that the car park next to the train line, between ALDI and Maccas is open to the public?
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en...h&z=19&vpsrc=6
I can't see any boom gates or overhanging obstacles, for the Patrols to get stuck on, in the satellite images.
Access would be from Paget St. Maccas would barely be a 5 minutes walk for anyone wanting food or bathrooms and ALDI is right there for last minute supplies (no booze though).Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

Angelo? I'm noticing you drive a Triton. Is George driving in another vehicle or is he a passenger?Originally posted by A4x4 View PostI will also be attending with my friend GeorgeDeclan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

The carpark you highlighted is the railway commuter carpark so is open to public 24/7 and no problems for overheight patrols. Be mindful that access is off Paget st via Windsor St [as paget st is off both sides nth and sth sides of railway line]Originally posted by williade View PostOkay team, we need to confirm a meeting place ASAP.

I think we should go with this option.
We'll assume this is the case unless A4x4 says otherwise.Originally posted by glen_ep View PostYeah, that'll be Angelo, he'll be there with George as passenger.
So you will be sitting about 6 inches higher than normal?Originally posted by glen_ep View PostEDIT: My Prado won't be ready for this trip, so I'll be passenger.. somewhere...Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier

The weather forecast is improving (see first page). Slightly warmer with less chance of rain and lower rain fall predicted.
It's a pity Lyfe can't make it. Keep me posted on what you're doing.Originally posted by glen_ep View PostHey guys, who's going with the hard convoy and has space for the trip leader? (preferribly shotgun)
