      Upper Mt Walker; plenty of action in this video!




      Declan having a go at a small side track. It's very steep and has a massive rock step up. The rock is a bit shale like, and partially broke away under the new MTZ's...

          Here's the link to the State Library site showing the painting of the Cox's River & the convict stockade where we stopped at that bend; apparently it's Mt Walker in the background.

              Looks like they opned up Mt. walker to anybody who wants to give it a go. No more is this excluve to 6" lifted patrols anymore. Well done you guys.

                And good job with the vids too. That last short climb at the end of the day - I'm surprised that I got up even after stopping and going so slow!

                              Yeah, I could really feel the MTZ's biting into the loose rocks. They don't seem too bad on road either. I was half expecting the car to just keep going straight at the first corner I turned into, and was pleasantly surprised. I purposely locked up the brakes down a hill near my house while it was raining to test the stopping distance. They weren't noticeably worse than the ATR's. So either the coopers suck both on and off road or the MTZ's are okay for road driving.

                                BTW I noticed on that last short climb it was ME that broke the rock step.. maybe I hampered your efforts? :O
