    Hi Macca

There are some public road sections that are 4WD, a lot of the older sections have been closed off with boulders by the quarries, but they are open at the other end. We haven't done a lot of these but I have been assured that they are quite hard core, tod od theracks we did would take around 5 hours so there is still a day out in there.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Doesn't want to embed for some reason so the link will have to do.

Legend!! Your now the official videographer as well. Unfortunately now the SA 2012 folks now know our secret GTG 2012 meeting location so we'll just have to keep moving around

See ya on the tracks, Richo.

Nice one Leon, who was the chipmunk on the radio!!!!
Stewy noticed u were taking all the soft options! Unlike Fozzy out there having some wheel lifting.

Snaga, I don't recall taking a boring or different line as the caption in the vid suggests.
Just cause the 120 didn't lift a wheel, I can't help it that it flexed more than Richo's. LOL
Looking forward to another trip out there. Well done on the vid.

So whats the name of the road that use to access this area? I've only been down there once and the section that I came across was closed.... Would like to have a look at this area sometime.......

A very large portion of the original play areas now have gates or giant boulders preventing ingress. The track we ran was the "public" road that runs through the region, which is still a lot of fun.

                        Cheers,

                          Hi Macca

Yo can start at Vennor Rd Ormeau, at the water tower is where we usually meet. This way you do the uphill on the rocky section to start the day and get the adrenalin flowing. There is also a dead end track that has a very technical section that heads west before the first deep hole that is fun. If you are going put up a post and I'm sure you'll get plenty of takers, me included especially if I have my winch.

See ya on the tracks, Richo.
