I don't believe it will bolt onto your Prado because the bullbar mounting bracket is in the way. You would need to change your Bullbar to an ARB steel bar or similar. If you bolt it onto your bullbar brackets the way your current tie-down points are it could bend the bullbar brackets as you can clearly see this one has been twisted as the bullbar bracket is not strong enough for vehicle recovery.

You are right Declan, yesterday I came to Auto spare store and found something very similar to the one you show in the photo. However, they will not bolt on my car because the bull bar now is in the position. If I want to bolt something like this on, I should have to change to steel bull bar first, or I will have to modify something there first. Will try it soon.

It is very worth getting done right. In my opinion, recovery points should not have any form of doubt around them. The energy in a snatch under load should not be underestimated and if a recovery point comes off, doesnt take a great deal of imagination...

Fortunately, you have two tie-down points, which helped us balance between then for recovery, but I would prioritise getting some good mount points Of course, if I use my recovery points, I always seem to need to put them under extreme load. Ummm... cant remember my last soft recovery
