Had a reply from the marketing person - 4WD tracks are utilised for car launches only, no "public" access. I did wonder why they'd even mention it on the website, if it was a restricted activity, but there you go.

Maybe we can "launch" someone's Prado, I wonder if that would cover it?

I popped in on my way home from the coast yesterday and the tracks that were there are now on private property. I did see the Driver Training centre 4WD test track is still being used so my bet is that is what Sirromet are using. PS know what Sirromet stands for, I do.

beans have been spilt. its Native Dog Road. look for a gate and go around it and beware it is now trespassing so you can get done by the cops. gate was put up in last few weeks as mate went down today. He said its pretty muddy
