It's only a 5 minute drive for me so I'll have a look on Friday at the 3 entery's.
2012 Suzuki jimny 50mm lift, 215/75/15 hankook muddies, 30 inch dual row light bar, gme UHF, arb compressor, rola roof rack, ironman awning, projecta dual battery system with yellow top optima, evakool fridge freezer and arb air locker this month!
Fabes the vennor road entry was open. There is a gate but it's smashed open. Can't remember if it has been there for ages or not. If they gate it I'll give it a month at the most.

Ha guys the trip looks good when is the next trip up there mite have to make the journey up there for a look one weekend, Has anyone been to the radio tower up there..
The trip up from Vennor Rd takes us right past the tower Kieth. You can drive in and around the boundary fence of the tower for a bit of a look. It's only a couple of hundred metres off the main track.
Vennor Drive, Ormeau on Google Maps would be the best starting point..PM me an email address and I can send you a .kmz file that you can open with Google earth to look at the Ormeau Hills track, or if you have something like MotionX on an iPhone or the like, you can use that to do the trip without getting too lost...
Thanks Craig for that i found it mate looks like a good drive there around those Quarries when we head up there in the future we will give you a PM maybe you could show us around or when the next trip is on cheers.
It runs off to the left before you get to the turn off to the lookout, comes out at the end of the track just before the air up area, it was challenging going down but would be great to do going up, some winch action I think.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.
Thanks Richo,
Continuing on from Hutch's thread. So before you go through the gate to lookout, you said it is on the left . Is it a a small track or is it one of those graded fire breaks? Does it lead down to the creek you eventually cross near where we aired up last time?
I will get out there next weekend for a look. Need to give the winch a workout.
Cheers
Robert

Thanks Craig,
Just looking at it now. I see you started at the water tower, went up stony climb turned left and then right to the lookout. Back out turned right, down over the creek and then aired up. Is that correct. I cant see where you turned left before the lookout that Richo was mentioning.
Cheers
Robert

First of all Robert you'll be disappointed to know that the stony climb is now just a dirt track that a Prius could drive up!, but yes that's the way we went however the track in discussion is before you get to the Lookout track as pictured
