Was great to catch up today and put some faces to pp signatures. I think its fair to say that we are all on the same page, and theTassie gtg should become a reality for 2015. Lots of ideas to ponder, and all in all a worthwhile afternoon.

Great afternoon meeting up with fellow PP'ers and discussing if we could orgainise a GTG here in Tasmania in 2015. Well over a few drinks, some wonderful food, and all the kids getting on well I think it was well and truely decide that we can make it happen.

Thanks to Troy, Craig and Ben for all meeting up. Let the reccies and planning begin.

(Need to work out how to post the pics from my phone on here now)

It was good to catch up and as mentioned 2015 appears to be a go ahead for the GTG for that year.
Thanks Ben for having the gathering at your place and for Vaughn and Craig for making an effort. Now for the fun to begin.

Sounds like the seeds have been sown and the ideas are emerging.
Looking forward to 2015 Tassie GTG.
            Cheers

Surely Kristy was there as well, someone needs to keep Vaughn in line. Make sure you get the girls involved, it's a big job organizing a GTG and having them on board really helps.

No idea if I can make the Tassie GTG but I hope so, too long since I visited the South Island

              Cheers Andrew

Yes Kristy was there with wine bottle in hand.

Yes the wifes were there and were involved in the discussions. It is only a small committee at this stage so as many people as possible to assist.

This sounds like I am going to another PPGTG. I went to the first in the red centre.
Would love to attend. Lots of lead up time which is good.

We lived in tassie for 3 years and loved it. Lived in shearwater (around the corner from Palmer) and was only just talking to my wifey Linda about Hawley house and their glass of wine with a wood fired pizza on a Sunday. Palmer, do you know if they still do that?
Then we moved to Burnie then on to WA. Our prado was bought new from Toyota in Cooee, and we still have a rental down there.
So saying all that we are well in need of a visit to the apple isle.
Meet a few more PPers, and catch up if only briefly with some old friends.
Will be watching for dates etc
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Hey Jeff, can't help with the Hawley house pizza. I've lived here for near 10 years, and haven't been in to there at all. I know, pretty slack.

For those who doubted it would happen, here is the evidence showing the forming of the committee for the Tasmania GTG 2015.

Thanks to Tony, Ben and Craig and their families for finally being able to plant the seed and watch it grow.

Unfortunately seeds don't grow much in Tassie in winter, but when the weather warms up, I am looking forward to some reccie runs and further planning.

The seeds may not grow in winter here but they can germinate and prepare to branch out in the spring time. We just need to think of plans and ideas while the weather is wet and cold and get ready to go out and explore and enjoy.

                              Let the planning begin!
